A VERY good read. Great companion book to Princess Louisa's story.

Princess Anne, the shrew, and Sam Baldwin, a politician, both beautiful people, at least in looks. SPOILER.. each have too many drinks at the King's charity party; ending with you got it...unprotected sex. Pregnant Princess finally tells Politician that he is an expectant father. Unfortunately, politicians and royals cannot marry without the politician giving up his office and Hero wanted to step in his father's so to speak political shoes. It has been his lifelong goal. But for only the sake of the child, he gives up and marries the Princess. Well I have a belief, make the man do something he doesn't want to do and he will make you regret it. And so he does. The Hero is a self centered "fathers" boy. Notice I did not say man. But finally after much angst, he steps up and becomes that man. The villain "gingerbread man" is caught after a hugh almost life ending event. The reader gets to revisit the Princes Chris and Aaron, their spouses, Princess Louise and Duke Garrett. All living a HEA. A very good story!! Ms. Celmer pulled it all together. GREAT!

One of the worst books ever

What can I say? It's bad.
The main character it's selfish and spoil, they call her the Ice Princess, but apparently she has plenty experience with men. She believes that sex solve most problems. But it's ok, because apparently the hero thinks the same way. Overall not exactly what you believe a princess should be.
I don't know what's wrong with the hero, when he thinks they're soul mates, just because they spent most of the honeymoon doing sex.
The big mystery it's easily solve, or maybe I'm a genius (I'm being ironic), but in my opinion there is not a big mystery there.
There's a general lack of passion and don't forget the clich�: only after leaving her does he realize that he loves her.
To conclude it's a waste of time.

great story

I love Michelle Celmer's novels and I was overall satisfied with the Royal Seduction line; however, I wasn't satisfied with the way certain aspects with the gingerman subplot wrapped up. Overall this was a good wrap up to the series and I highly suggest it to new and veteran romance readers.
