The best algebra book ever!

I used this wonderful book during my high school studies and I learned from it all the algebra I know. It is very well written, with good examples and very interesting exercises. I didn't have any problems with my college studies (I studied Electrical-Mechanical Engineering) because this book gave me the background I needed to rock in college.

Baldor's books defined my childhood

I read his books in elementary school during my spare time. Yes, they are old fashioned math, but they are great for self-teaching. If it wasn't for Baldor I wouldn't be in MIT for grad school.

The things I liked about this book are that it goes straight to the point. It rambles on a little at the beginning but that is just the first page, after that it really gets to the point. It has very good advice and exercises that make sense to improve the size and girth of a penis. The style in which the author “speaks” comes off a little douchy but it does get to the thing that it promises in the cover. Over all it’s a good read if you want to improve the general volume of your member. It does take time and it says so because it recommends methods that are completely natural and free of chemicals.

When I saw this book navigating on this website, I couldn’t believe there were really a book about penis size. It suddenly got my attention and, as it was at a great discount price, I thought about buying it. After reading it, I can say that this is actually a good book. In its pages, there are some interesting stuff that most people don’t know about (for many reasons), for example: penis exercise or the answer if size really matters. I think it’s a good book (nothing extraordinary); it is easy to read and it has some valuable tips.

What an interesting book ! I believe I can always learn a lot more about my own body. This book shows some particular exercises we can do as a man. I believe is something you can do even if it's not something you are particularly interested in getting a bigger size. It is important to read carefully. I understood the exercises now and Ii will be doing it to see what Ii can accomplish. I got this book in a promotion at a lower price.

If you're just starting out this is NOT the best option.

Although this book does have allot of good info, several sections of this book are full of pretty pictures without much application to the average home knife builder.
I'll start with the less useful info in the book.
The first chapter leads off with a guy using an EDM machine(electric discharge machining) to begin making his knives, as the process goes on he uses a milling machine to do some of the other work, since I doubt anyone other than the most dedicated knife makers are going to have, or plan to ever purchase, that sort of equipment, it would have been better to see how to do these steps using more common tools and equipment. They were great looking knives but not much info a person could actually apply even in a well equipped home workshop.
The third section makes no sense to me why it was even included, other than maybe to show how production shops used to make knives back in the 80's, it involves using a pantograph machine and making patterns for it. Since pantographs are used to make multiple copies of the same parts, and are obsolete(not very good if you are going into production these days), this really is of no use to a person actually trying to build their own knives.
Another section in the book is about creating steel from raw materials and smelting. Although very interesting, once again not allot of application for the knife builder or anyone else who is not already very experienced in knife making.
This book does have some good sections on basic knife design as well as some good info on casting guards and pommels, overall, I'd say about 1/2 to 2/3 of this book is actually useful.
Even though this book has better pictures, for a person just starting out I would recommend getting this instead How to Make Knives

Better books available

The pictures are B & W, and aren't even particularly good B & W. David Boye's book is better and more detailed, as are several others. I know Loveless is a legend as a knife maker, but that doesn't have any impact on his written work. OK to buy as a historical document but there are better first books if you want to learn to be a knife maker.

There are plenty of books for beginners, but this is not one. There are not a lot of great books for more obscure and advanced methods, but this is one.

To my knowledge there are no other books on using a pantograph for knife making.

Take it for what it's worth.

Richard Maxwell is a director and playwright and the artistic director of New York City Players. Maxwell's plays have been commissioned and presented in over 20 countries. He is a Doris Duke Performing Artist. Maxwell has been selected for a Guggenheim Fellowship, two OBIE Awards, a Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grant, and he was an invited artist in the Whitney Biennial (2012). Maxwell is the recipient of the 2014 Spalding Gray Award.

Foundation for a solid, aggressive, and flexible strategy

Don't get the wrong idea from the book's title. Automatic Poker doesn't just give you a overly simplistic strategy that you will quickly move on from in a couple weeks. It first outlines a starter strategy that follows sound poker fundamentals of position and aggression that can be played within a few hours of reading the book and printing out the charts. The book then adds to that foundation in the intermediate section with very detailed instructions for setting up a HUD and using it to adjust your play to your opponents. Once through the book you're left with a LAG strategy that uses the benefits of playing with a smaller stack... mainly the ability to set up good stack to pot ratios for over-pair and paired hands more often and avoiding big mistakes with really big pots.

I spent most of my time playing sit and goes and tournaments but wanted to transition to cash games. If your like me or are just starting to play poker then playing with a shorter stack makes a lot of sense. 100 big blind stacks can be pretty awkward to play with and very easy to make costly mistakes with. Short stacking simplifies things and this book has the best info I've seen on playing with a short stack.

Great book that may change your poker career

Very solid for a fundamental book, and great for beginners and shortstackers. I have been a shortstacker for years, but never cross something that devotes a whole book around it. But this book is not just about shortstacking; it offers a great strategy for beginners (position and aggression) to start off and winning with. Then once you get your feet wet, it offers the intermediate strategy to open up and develop up to playing the player, board texture, and ranges. Then the rest of the book is devoted to anything and everything else in between to become a great player (not just shorstacker).

As a long time TAG shortstacker, I was very impressed by the accuracy of the preflop strategies that confirmed my own. I was enlightened by the loose yet profitable (more important than preflop) postflop strategies that will bring my game to a much higher level (and profit) than a former nit shovebot like myself. A great book overall, and I cannot wait for the second volume.

A step by step no hype strategy for making money in Poker.

This book is a simple and direct approach to getting someone playing winning poker. While the trend among the major poker publishers seems to be making poker books you can sit in a silk robe, drink wine, read and think deep thoughts until you have a headache to this book is something for the person not looking for endless hyperbole and simply wants to build a bankroll. The theories are touched on but most importantly they are applied , used, and presented in a way that will benefit a reader of all skill levels. I hope this book gets some solid success as I would hope the major publishers would make note and possibly look to bring books like this into the marketplace and not leave average poker fans in deep math and theory dust. I like the content of this book as well as the fact this book isnt about hype or false promises of making millions of dollars. This book is about grinding, working hard, and developing skills and winning mindsets and approaches to playing and studying this style of poker the author is teaching.

My only complaint is the copy the author sent was damaged in the mail but for what its worth I have 0 problem sending him another order as I am so pleased with his work and am more than happy to support him and his publisher!
